Foundation For GIRLS & WOMEN Who Want to Adventure

Girls need to be surrounded and see women, people they can aspire to, to take the risk and challenge themselves. Without this, the will not test the boundaries and explore beyond what they think, and importantly societies bias, on them. 

This starts at a school, club, home level. Girls need to see women championing other women (not competing against them). Girls need to interact with other girls and women in a safe and encouraging environment to know that they can drop their shell, their chameleon can be it's own true colours and they can be themselves, expressed beautifully. 

This is a work in progress which stems from the need to support women due to the lack of financial awarenenss & literacy often available to support women in their daily lives. By boosting financial literacy more can be done to encourage a woman's adventurous spirit and keen pursuits.

We are looking at gathering a small group of women across all sectors, not only within the swimming and sporting community, but within the legal, financial, health, arts and science sectors. If you would like to be involved, or know someone would, we would love to hear from you.
